Judge.me collects product reviews primarily through review request emails, which are automatically sent based on your settings. For customers who provide a phone number, you can also enable SMS review requests through integrations with Judge.me third-party partners such as SMSBump. By default, Judge.me review request emails are sent from requests@judge.me. You can choose to change this sender email to your Shopify store’s corporate domain email address to maintain consistency with your store brand.
Go to the Judge.me review app dashboard in the Shopify backend, find Email Settings, then click Add custom email to add a custom email address, fill in your own Shopify store’s corporate domain email address according to the actual situation, and then click Send confirmation link to send a confirmation email.
Log in to the corporate domain email you just set up, find the confirmation email sent by Postmark, the email service provider of Judge.me, and click Confirm Sender Signature to confirm the sender’s signature. Please note that Postmark does not support verification of email addresses from public domains such as gmail.com and outlook.com.
After adding the corporate domain email, you also need to verify DKIM and Return-Path to improve the email delivery rate and prevent the sent emails from being marked as spam.
In general, add 2 domain name resolution records according to the prompts in the Email Settings window of the Judge.me dashboard: TXT record and CNAME record.
Take NameSilo domain name as an example, log in to the backend, find the domain name DNS settings, add 1 TXT and CNAME resolution record each, keep the TTL value as default, and after adding, return to the Judge.me dashboard Email Settings window and click Check status to check the status.
DKIM and Return-Path records may take up to 48 hours to verify, but are usually completed within a few minutes. After setting the Judge.me sender email address to the corporate domain email address of the Shopify store, the sender of the review request email sent through the Judge.me review application will be updated to your own corporate domain email address.
The above is the process of how to set the Judge.me sender email address to the corporate domain email address of the Shopify store.
