Deactivate a Facebook Page
Published and active Pages are visible to the public. Unpublishing or deactivating a Page will hide it from the public, including people who like or follow your Page. If you have full control of your new Page as a Facebook administrator, you can unpublish or deactivate your Page at any time.
To deactivate a Facebook Page, first go to Facebook, click your profile picture in the top right, then select View All Pages, select the Page you want to switch to, then click Settings & Privacy.
Then click Settings, in the left menu, click Privacy, then click Facebook Page Information, then click View next to Deactivation and Deletion.Select Deactivate Public Page and click Continue.
Enter your personal account password to confirm the operation, then click Continue, select the reason for deactivating the homepage, and finally click Deactivate Now to complete the operation. It should be noted that unpublishing or deactivating a public page will not delete it. It will not be visible to the public until you republish or reactivate the public page.
To reactivate your Facebook Page, first go to your profile and click your profile picture. From the drop-down menu, select Settings > Privacy and then click Settings. Click Your Facebook Information and then click View next to Reactivate Your Page.
Select the public page you want to reactivate and click Reactivate. The public page will then be reactivated. Delete Facebook Public Page To delete a Facebook public page, you need to have Facebook management permissions with full control over the public page. Go to your Facebook public page, click the homepage avatar in the upper right corner, and select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu.
Then click Settings, then Privacy in the left menu, then Facebook Page Information, then click View next to Deactivation and Deletion.
Select Delete Public Page. Before deleting your page, you can choose to download your page information. Click Continue, enter your personal account password to confirm the operation, and click Continue.
Finally, click Continue to confirm the permanent deletion of your public page. When you apply to delete your Facebook public page, Meta will immediately unpublish or deactivate your public page, but your public page will not be permanently deleted until 30 days later. You can also unpublish or deactivate your public page at any time and reactivate the public page to cancel the deletion.
